Richa Chadda is outspoken Bollywood actress, not to mention one of the critically acclaimed actresses who have done films like Masaan and Fukrey. Recently the actress has been seen in the film ‘Jia aur Jia’alongside Kalki Koechlin which was appear to be great on overall box-office business. She is now going to again play a badass goon in the sequel of the film ‘Fukrey’ which will title as ‘Fukrey Returns’. Richa Chadda also reacted on the Padmavati row recently. She shared her bold expression related to it. She said that people faith is not so weak that it could be break with a film. She stated that Indian traditions and culture is more rigid to be broke by a film.
She talked about the all controversy going on the Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singhstarring period drama film Padmavati which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She said “Whatever I will say will be blown out of proportion. But I will say it in the most polite way. With all due respect, I am also a Hindu and I don’t believe that faith is so weak that it will break with a film. I feel that the best thing about our country is that we are a democracy.Richa further said “So, first watch the film and then if there is any objection… There is a body in our country that certifies films. I have belief in my faith, culture and tradition that it won’t shake up of a two-three hour film,”
