Actress Shamita Shetty who has worked in Bollywood for the short span time believes that she says ‘no’ so much that work eventually has stopped coming for her but she also mentioned that the actress never looked for quantity in her works. Shamita Shetty who is sister of the actress Shilpa Shetty made her debut in Bollywood with film Aditya Chopra directorial film ‘ Mohabbatein’ whereafter she has been seen in some constant films as well. She is now featuring in upcoming web series titled as ‘ Ye Kya Hua Bro’.
Shamita conversed with IANS and said “I have not done that many roles. I have not been a part of that many films for a while.
There is a lot that I would like to do… Maybe I have said no so much that eventually worked stopped coming to me but I never stress on quantity.”
She further added “For me, quality matters. You are taking out time from your life to do something that you love and you should be happy doing it. I don’t want to do a film just for the sake of it. For me, I guess, I just had to pick the best from what came to me.”Shamita mentioned that after doing Bigg Boss 3 and Jhalak Dikhlaja she will love to do the fiction projects on Television but only if it is ‘ content driven’. She added at last “Today, I think the subject is your hero. I cannot sit here today and say, ‘I want to do this or that’ as it depends on what is offered to me and appeals to me. Accordingly, I can take a decision.”
