Shraddha Kapoor is all set for the playing the challenging role of Saina Nehwal, the proud Indian badminton player and sketching her journey on the big screen. It will be not the first biopic film of Shraddha as she recently played the character of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister in film ‘Haseena Parkar’. She also stated to the media that it is going to be most challenging role in her career she ever came across and even started preparing for the role as it is a great responsibility for not only the makers but herself also to represent the true self. She said “I feel her (Nehwal) career is going great guns, especially the way she has bounced back after her injury, it is tremendous and so inspiring. “It is a huge responsibility on all of us to make sure that we do a thorough job of presenting her on the big screen.
It is a daunting and challenging job.”She started the preparation to play the London Olympics Bronze medallist badminton player Saina as by playing the badminton early in the morning which she also enjoys quite much. She says ““I fell in love with the game when I started playing it. But it is very challenging. On the days when I practice badminton, my days are completely different and I am a different person when I don’t play. I usually start playing it from 6 am in morning every day for two hours or so.She further added to concern “We aim to practice every day but if my arms or legs get too sore then I don’t do the class. I feel tempted to play that time as well but I have been advised not to play as I would get prone to injuries.”
